Why Reaching Roots

 

The name "Reaching Roots" was inspired by my observations of an aspen grove.  The roots of each individual tree reach down and out to intertwine with other aspen roots as they are technically considered a singular organism, each contributing to the vast root system underground sharing nutrients for growth and resilience.  When the conditions are just right, new trees will sprout from this root system continuing the growth and health of the grove, providing shelter and habitat for many wildlife species.

 

We must also have the right environmental conditions in order for our health, happiness and wholeness to be cultivated from our ever-expanding system of roots.  Some of these roots include a strong self-worth, optimized nutritional status, healthy relationships with food and nature, and a supportive community. If we are going to be able to live strong healthy lives, we must first become aware of our roots and explore which ones may need some nourishing in order for our bodies to thrive.

In our consultations, we will work together to "reach" for the "root" cause of wherever you feel your imbalance lies. As with all holistic types of therapies, we will view your body as a whole unit - exploring the entire grove rather than just a single tree.  We will use food, lifestyle modifications and supportive supplementation to address your imbalance.
